华沙交易所(Warsaw Exchange, GPW)计划在明年开发股票期权和特定行业的指数。GPW的客户经理、产品和市场开发团队的负责人Filip Duszczyk表示：“作为GPW2022年战略的一部分，我们正计划对衍生品领域采取一种双管齐下的策略。我们希望列出三到五种单一的股票期权，这些期权以GPW上市的流动性最强的公司为基础。此外，我们还希望开发特定行业指数，将其作为指数衍生品的基础。”
GPX eyes equity options; sector-specific indices
The Warsaw Exchange (GPW) is looking to develop equity options and certain sector-specific indices within the next year. Speaking to FOW more specifically on these plans, Filip Duszczyk, account manager, product and market development team at GPW, said: “We are planning somewhat of a two pronged approach to our derivatives segment, as part of our 2022 strategy. Firstly we want to list between three to five single stock options initially that use the most liquid companies listed at GPW as underlying. “At the same time we want to develop sector-specific indices which we could then use as underlying for index derivatives too, in addition to our planned single stock derivatives suite,” he added, noting the exchange would initially focus on the banking and fuel and energy sectors.
