PS 遇到这个问题还是因为看到微博“同声翻译樱桃羊”说英语里没有净倍数的说法，极疑惑，因为中学老师一直强调X times more=X+1 times，似乎也很合中文认知。这种错误理解似乎确实影响很广，曾受一些网红推荐的《葛传椝英语惯用法词典》time词条下恰恰就说错了。
不同地方习惯不同，也即两者都有可能是作者想表达的意思，别吐槽为什么有人会认为35kg is 7 times heavier than 5kg，对于他们来说这就和as much(many) as/ equal to是一样的 。
当年老师的说法是，自己写文的时候最好不要用这个句式/看文的时候如果不需要精确知道到底是多少倍就别管了。
切记：这不是数学问题，而是语言习惯问题。
