今天是母亲节，正如上面的引述一样，母亲温柔善良、伟大无私，母亲教会我们飞翔，让我们成长为想要的模样，她是爱的化身，是天使般的神仙存在，是无所不能超人，只要我们需要，她就会随时出现在我们身边~

我们穷极一切夸赞的词汇来形容母亲，也会在今天送上礼物和祝福，但或许等我们真正长大，甚至经历了初为人母的体验，才会真正感受到母亲的辛劳和伟大。
正如这位妈妈摄影师Giedre Gomes一样，用22张照片将身边新妈妈残酷的真实生活展现给大家，为我们呈现了一份别样的母亲节礼物。

Everyone talks about how special motherhood is, and the bond shared with a child is unlike any other, it’s a magical journey that is both rewarding and satisfying, and I couldn’t agree more. I absolutely love being a mom, it’s the best jobin the world. I am a mom of two boys and love them to pieces, but motherhood is not always all rainbows and butterflies.
所有人都说母亲这个角色是多么特别，她们和孩子之间的纽带和其他任何人的关系都不能相提并论，说做妈妈很开心，而且很值得，是一段奇妙之旅，我也完全是这么想。我非常爱妈妈这个角色，我觉得这是世界上最好的工作，我自己就是两个男孩的妈妈，我简直爱死他们了，但做妈妈也不全是彩虹和蝴蝶般的美好生活。

Motherhood is not remembering what it's like to get a full night's sleep, wiping more poop than you ever thought you'd see in your life. Motherhood is no longer having privacy, never peeing or showering in peace.
当妈后已经记不得睡个整觉是什么感觉，擦的粑粑比之前看到的所有粑粑都多。当妈后不再拥有隐私，连尿尿和洗澡的时间都不是自己的了。
Motherhood is using your shirt to wipe runny noses and dirty faces. Motherhood is learning how to do everything with one hand while carrying a baby in another. Motherhood is waking up with a little butt or foot in your face. Motherhood is breastfeeding whenever wherever.
当妈的要用自己的衣服给孩子擤鼻涕擦脸。当妈后还得学习单手托娃，单手做事。当妈的每天早上醒来，脸上不是娃儿的屁股就是他的脚丫。还有无论何时何地，喂奶都要随时准备着。

Motherhood is yoga pants and bad hair day. Motherhood is no longer shopping alone. Motherhood is having a filthy car all the time. Motherhood is not being able to call in sick because it's a 24/7 job without a paycheck and the list goes on.
当妈的每天穿着瑜伽裤，头发乱糟糟，逛街也不再是一个人。当妈的每天都要处理脏兮兮的小汽车。当妈的不允许生病，因为这是一份没有薪水但7*24h全年无休的工作。
But in the end, I wouldn't have it any other way. Being a mom means being completely and totally overwhelmed by love, joy, responsibility, and selflessness.
工作任务还在增加，但归根到底，我也不会用其他方式来经历这种生活。做一个妈妈，你就要完全地成为爱、欢乐、责任和无私的化身。

With the help of my mommy friends, I created this little project just in time for Mother’s day, to remind everyone what motherhood really looks like.
在其他妈咪朋友的帮助下，我创作了这组作品，献给母亲节，让大家看看做为母亲，她们的真实生活。

对于这些新妈妈来说，除了体尝到了做母亲的喜悦感和满足感外，伴随她们的还有忙碌、痛苦和焦虑。早到得知有宝宝的准妈妈，到为了育儿不得已改变自己人生规划和轨迹的新妈妈，一直到看着孩子离自己渐行渐远的老母亲，“成为母亲”的残酷现实远远不止这些。
给大家展示妈妈们的另一面，不是让年轻人产生恐婚、恐生的想法，而是想让我们看到，妈妈也不是我们想当然地那样坚不可摧，或是想象中的那般美好，或许了解了她们的不完美和有时的不快乐，才能真正理解、关心、支持她们，让她们快乐！
