台湾期交所将于ICE达成协议后推出布伦特期货
台湾期货交易所(Taifex)将于7月2日（周一）推出布伦特原油期货，此前该交易所与洲际交易所(ICE)签署了许可协议，将使用已有30年历史的布伦特指数。台湾期交所董事长刘连煜表示,以本币计价的小型合约将更好地迎合散户投资者，并允许当地投资者在不承担汇率风险的情况下交易全球石油基准。
Taifex to launch Brent futures after ICE agreement
The Taiwan Futures Exchange (Taifex) will launch Brent crude oil futures next Monday after inking a licensing agreement with the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) to use the US exchange’s 30 year old Brent Index. Speaking on the move, Dr Len-Yu Liu, Taifex chairman, said: “A local currency-denominated and small-sized contract will better cater for retail participants and allow local investors to trade the world’s oil benchmark without bearing currency risk.
