The New York Review of Books 纽约书评， 算是半月刊（确切地说是每年二十期，学期段每月两期，寒暑假每月一期）.1963年创立的杂志，美国东海岸自由左派知识分子的大本营,内容涉及文学、文化以及时事。基本是论文评论文，略长，作者基本都是牛人，什么Chomsky，Christopher Hitchens，Paul Krugman，George Soros, John Updike.....
读了差不多大半年了，各种事实评论都有，基本每篇文章都可以让你脑洞大开(当时刚看完soumission觉得捧得有些过分一直到这三篇文章France on Fire by Mark Lilla，France: A Strange Defeat by Mark Lilla, Slouching Toward Mecca by Mark Lilla，彻底拜倒在纽约书评的石榴裙下)。
如果你觉得普通新闻的角度还有深度不能满足你的时候， 首推纽约书评，也顺便推一下The Atlantic,这本美国最老得杂志，主题跟纽约书评略相似少一些书评而已。
