LSE makes me feel like:
if you win the competition, you'll earn a lot of money, and you lead a miserable life;
if you lose the competition, you'll have no money, and you lead a miserable life. :)

Maybe there has been some good times, centuries ago, in this tiny little place - intellectually stimulating debates do happen and people are not yet lost in apathy or in the rush to find a job in Canary Wharf.
Now this is a school that treats students as cash cows, and pushes them into depression before evicting them out of halls. (See: http://www.independent.co.uk/student/news/london-school-of-economics-evicts-student-with-mental-health-issues-which-affected-studies-a6978261.html)
We are officially ranked at the very last place in the whole UK for student satisfaction, but applicants are not considering this fact at all - the only thing that matters to them, I guess, is the overall ranking (which apparently proves nothing about excellency in education).
Sorry about all the ranting and negative comments. If this makes you uncomfortable, please just ignore me and keep on dreaming about LSE being a lovely place. [Smile]
